We are currently hiring for a Lead Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our ever-growing team of professionals who share our main focus of GREAT PATIENT CARE! 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervising daily operation of the front office.
• Responsible for the staffing and management of front office personnel at the site
• Monitors department operations in scheduling patients for appropriate appointments
• Monitors department policies and procedures
• Trains new front office employees
• Addresses patient inquiries and concerns about appointment scheduling, insurance coverage, and payment methods
• Manages performance evaluations and supervision of the front office in compliance with company policy and state and federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent required2. 
• 2 years college coursework or Associate’s degree preferred
•  Three to five years' experience in an Ophthalmology practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Well-organized, with strong attention to detail
• Good problem solving and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
•  Ability to work independently and inspire others to work as a team
•  Demonstrated computer literacy
• Handle/prioritize multiple tasks
•  Handle/manage stressful situations. Manage anger/fear/hostility/violence
