Responsibilities:
- Check-in/check-out/medical records/pre-cert/scheduling
- Accurate and detailed collection of patient demographic and insurance information
- Obtaining and filing appropriate documents
- Accurate data entry of patient info/insurance
- Verifying insurance and obtaining authorizations
- File insurance
- Scheduling patients
- Collecting co-pays/deductibles
- Deliver contact lenses and collecting patients' balances
- Open/close clinic

Requirements
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Good patient rapport/Good customer service skills
- Possess basic computer skills and efficiently use the computer
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Interact well with Physicians, Management and all co-workers, as well as patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Compliance with coding and billing guidelines
- Previous experience verifying insurance is an added plus
